Sprinkler Tank Epoxy Repair Process Explained
Here we discuss what is entailed when our engineers carry out the bespoke repair process for your sprinkler tank system.
- Our engineers begin any prep work needed for repairs
- The system is then isolated
- Electrical tagging of all supplies takes place
- The tank is drained
- This takes around 36 hours depending on the size of the tank
- Ventilation equipment is placed in your empty tank
- Any remaining water/silt and sediment is pumped away
- All permits and method statements are checked
- We prep the internal surface before applying the new lining
If the surface has been damaged considerably we will use grit blasting to remove any corrosion that exists.
Our bespoke Surface Tolerant Coating is then applied after preparation has taken place.
We then seal the area with a compound that is brushed over the surface.
After applying a three coat epoxy system it is left for 24 hours to cure completely.
The entire process will take up to 7 days before you are able to continue using your sprinkler tank and enjoy the improved performance fully.
